Romorantin has his high school in comics!

Xavier Crespo, scriptwriter and cartoonist, accompanied by his partner Marine Ribault, founder of MX Éditions, came to the town hall to present "Invasion", the first volume of a series entitled "Cohabitation".

The main character, Thomas, a student in a school that resembles the Lycée Claude de France in Romorantin, is on a science fiction adventure with an alien. They try to escape from mysterious creatures from the manga universe by criss-crossing their city, an architectural mix of several cities. This first volume integrates different views of the high school: the outside entrance, the inner courtyard, the bike storage area, the corridors, not forgetting the library, the computer room and the canteen. Volume 2 will be released in 2022. It will also include various nods to Romorantin: the site of the Pyramid, the town hall, streets...

Xavier Crespo and Marine Ribault live with their children in Quebec. They lived in Romorantin until 1997, the year they graduated from the Lycée Claude de France. Xavier Crespo worked in the video game industry until 2020 when he dedicated himself to the "Cohabitation" project with MX Éditions. A participatory financing on the Internet was successfully launched on March 20 for this first volume currently sold in 7 countries.

MX Editions' goal is to offer entertaining books that will guide readers towards a better understanding of themselves. The originality of this publishing house is to integrate, in an adapted way, keys to personal development in its comics and youth books, a subject usually reserved for a more mature audience.
